Join Together in Season of Lightmending

Beginning on January 16th and concluding on April 2nd, players who have unlocked the Vault of Knowledge will be able to work with their friends to help the newest season’s spirits restore fractured lanterns in the archives. Join together, use your light, and fix what has been broken.

Who could have guessed that Memory Lanterns are so fragile? Answer the call from this season’s Quest Giver, who has recruited some old friends to show Sky Kids everywhere that they can work together with their light to mend the Vault’s precious lanterns.

It won’t always be easy, though! Team up, follow the clues, and piece the lanterns back together by finding and lighting crystals. Learn from the Lightseekers, in their new form as Lightmenders, to use special devices that will assist you in your efforts.

There are up to twelve unique devices that can be unlocked by completing the Season’s twelve quests. The first two quests become available on January 16th and 17th, with each of the remaining quests becoming available every Friday PST until March 27th. As you progress, you and your friends will be able to use these devices when seeking out missing fragments. 

The spirits not only have wisdom to share in the form of their special devices, they also have four new expressions to collect along with their other offerings! We hope these interactive and encouraging emotes will be part of fond new memories created during Season of Lightmending and beyond.

There are plenty of Memory Lanterns to mend, even after the Quest Giver’s tasks have been completed! Lantern tasks will change daily, allowing you to try new challenges both during and after the Season of Lightmending has ended. Repairing lanterns will award wax, and players can collect additional wax from Treasure Candles located in the area. Once you’ve pieced a lantern back together, you’ll also have the opportunity to take a picture with a projection of the lantern’s associated Spirit, so make sure to share on social media using #thatskygame!
