Get Ready for Days of Mischief Challenges
We’re excited to share Days of Mischief in the game with everyone, but we’re just as excited to hold two contests for the community to bring some of that mischievous spirit to the other side of the game screen.
Days of Mischief Screenshot Challenge (Oct. 18-20)
Share your inner photographer during our screenshot challenge, from October 18 through October 20 Pacific time. Grab a screenshot taken in the new event area, or using any of the event items and post them on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #SkyDaysofMischief, or in special threads on Discord and Facebook that open once the challenge begins. Entries can include friends, but they must feature your own Sky character to be counted. Please note that only one entry will be counted per person. Entries will close on October 20 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7).
Prizes for each winner will be the Mischief Witch Jumper, 30 regular Candles, and 3 Krill Repellant spells. Four winners will be randomly selected, and one winner will be selected by the thatgamecompnay team based on Creativity (40%), Presentation (30%), and Quality of Execution (30%). Winners can expect to be contacted and announced by the end of October 27 PDT. Good luck!
Spooky Carving Challenge (Oct. 25-29)
Get creative during this challenge and show us your best jack o’ lanterns with your favorite Days of Mischief or Sky designs! Share them on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #SkySpookyCarving, or in special threads on Discord and Facebook that open once the challenge begins. Five winners will be selected—four at random, one based on creativity (30%), storytelling (30%), and quality of execution (40%) by the thatgamecompany team—and each winner will receive the Mischief Spider Quiff, the Mischief Pumpkin Prop, and 3 Crab Rock Trick spells. Entries close at 23:59 PDT on October 29, and winners will be announced by the end of November 4 PDT.
Of course, some folks in our community may live in parts of the world where pumpkins aren’t available, so feel free to use any similar gourd, vegetable, tubers, or fruit, whether carved or decorated with decals, stickers, or paints. If making a jack o’ lantern with paper, clay or even food like cookies is more accessible to you, those can be entered as well—we want everyone to be able to participate!
As always, keep an eye on our social media channels when the starting times for these challenges approach. We can’t wait to see everyone’s entries. Good luck to everyone—and more importantly, have fun!
